Awhile back one of our own MFUGers, Joe Kromer, was a finalist in the Nationwide Yaris Debut Challenge Scholastic Achievement Award Competition. He was flown out to California with his team of fellow classmates to present the Flash website and supporting ad campaign did directly to Toyota. The team was one of three teams from across the nation in the finals. Joe and his team were selected as the winners of the competition and awarded the first place title. Congratulations to all involved and especially Joe for representing the PittMFUG so well. If you see Joe, be sure to congratulate him!

Congratulations to Isaac Gierard, winner of the PittMFUG Software Raffle! Isaac is taking home the Adobe Video Bundle! That’s $2,099 of software just for being an MFUGer! Tonight is the night! Someone should be leaving with an order placed for up to $2100 worth of Adobe software. We will be meeting at 6:30pm at New Perspective in the Strip. Topics include Flash 9 Alpha/ActionScript 3 and the Tweening class. Bring a topic to discuss because we are running a live podcast again tonight at the Church Brew Works. BBF Solutions has graciously offered to record again and will even have wireless headphones so that more of you can get in on the cast this time. It should be a great time! We also have a big announcement to share with you all at the Social/Podcast! We look forward to seeing you there!
