Our May meeting is this Thursday, May 15th. If you want to get meeting info in your inbox, use the form on the right to subscribe to our mailing list.
We have two presentations booked for this month’s meeting:
FIRE!!!!, Ben Pritchard
Ben will demo how to create a fire effect in Flash. Or, he may just set fire to the table… no one can be sure.
Particles in Perlin Noise, Val Head
Perlin noise is the official theme of this meeting! Val will show some of the perlin noise variations that Flash can natively create. She’ll also show and example of how to get particles to animate “through” perlin noise.
Meeting details:
Thursday May 15h
6:30pm
at New Perspective
(directions linked on the right –>)
FYI: We’ll be holding the meeting upstairs this month. If you arrive after 6:30pm the front doors will be locked and you’ll have to call the number posted on the door to get in.

I have been bombarded with openings for Flash developers lately. It detracts from the blog to constantly post the openings. I think I will start posting them in the Yahoo Group for the PittMFUG. I was recently sent a few so if you are an aspiring Flash developer in look for work make sure you check out our Yahoo group. You all DID know we have a PittMFUG Yahoo Group right….?
